(01) Case study
The brief
Ossuary designs libraries, chapels and civic halls that are meant to last a hundred years. Their old website was a slideshow of renders. They wanted a site that felt as considered as the buildings, and that let the work speak slowly.
Art direction
We commissioned a series of engravings for each project, then printed them in the studio’s cobalt so the portfolio reads as one body of work. Photography is shown large and uncropped, and every project opens with a short written essay by the architect.
The website
The site is built on a strict editorial grid with generous margins and very little interface. Navigation stays out of the way, and pages load in under a second even with full-bleed imagery.
Since launch, the studio has used the site as its main tool for competition entries and client presentations.
